Description

We are seeking a contract career coach based in France to support our Relocation and Outplacement solutions. The coach will assist employees relocating due to their company's initiatives, helping them integrate into new areas and supporting spouses/partners with job search strategies to find new employment or career continuation.

The coach will work one-on-one with program participants using IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology. This is a part-time, remote position, approximately 40-50 hours per month.

• Establish rapport with employees and spouses/partners, motivating them to achieve goals.
• Guide participants through coaching processes and milestones.
• Advise on career development, transition issues, and career options.
• Coach on CV/resumé writing, marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiations.
• Maintain electronic records of services provided.
• Monitor progress, provide advice on job search skills, and address personal issues affecting careers.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience coaching job seekers, including CV/resumé development, interview prep, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles, and negotiations.
• Strong facilitation, business coaching, and integration coaching skills.
• Experience working with job seekers in France.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• Ability to analyze transitional needs and foster positive relationships.
• Understanding of business and cultural practices in France and surrounding areas.
• Currently residing and/or working in France.
• Expat experience or current Repat experience is preferred.
• High-speed internet, personal computer, and headset with microphone for remote work.
• Experience with job seekers across various professions and levels.

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or related field (preferred).
• Coaching certification or training.
• Familiarity with Zoom & MS Teams.
• Personal relocation experience to a different country.
• Expat or Repat experience (preferred).
• Fluent in English and French.
