As Legal Counsel within Hanshow Group's Overseas Legal Department (directly reporting to the Director of Marketing Strategy & Legal Compliance), you may align under the European Regional Manager while handling these core responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including purchase and sale agreements with clients, distribution agreements, service provider contracts, EPC contracts, NDAs, co-development agreements, licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, and others.
  • Dispute Resolution: Managing complaints and disputes involving customers, suppliers, or third parties, in coordination with the Insurance team or external legal advisors as needed.
  • Regulatory Advisory: Providing support on complex regulatory matters with significant operational impact, including environmental compliance and product access permits in designated markets.
  • Compliance Leadership: Serving as the primary point of contact for competition and compliance matters, including anti-corruption, international sanctions, and GDPR, while supporting the implementation of Group-wide compliance programs.
  • Functional Development:
  • Staff training on critical legal topics
  • External counsel relationship management
  • Supporting external growth initiatives and complex transactions related to the Group’s business development, as needed.

Note : Responsibilities will evolve alongside business needs and the incumbent’s expertise.

Candidate Profile

  • Master’s degree in Business Law (international legal training preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in-house or at a law firm with a corporate focus
  • Preferred expertise: IT and/or energy sector contracts under Spanish and EU law
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or French is an advantage (German, Portuguese, or Italian also considered)
  • Demonstrates analytical rigor and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong business-oriented, problem-solving approach
  • Proven adaptability in multicultural environments
  • Prioritization & strategic vision alignment
  • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional engagement capability
