A global company specialising in the manufacture and distribution of professional-grade power tools is recruiting for an IT Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing IT projects, planning and coordinating IT activities, providing technical support, managing the ERP system, and supervising the IT infrastructure. Additional responsibilities include managing the IT budget and supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining robust IT security protocols.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill is essential.

IT Manager Main Responsibilities :
- IT Project Management: Lead the IT team in delivering projects on time, ensuring quality and alignment with business goals.
- IT Activity Planning: Evaluate, procure, and manage the replacement of hardware and software systems. Oversee backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- IT Support: Develop and implement IT service procedures. Advise departments on optimising system processes and support decision-making.
- ERP and External System Management: Oversee system updates and daily maintenance in coordination with the IT support team.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Supervise daily operations of server and network infrastructure, aligning systems with current and future business needs.
- IT Budget Management: Prepare and manage IT budgets, monitor cash flow, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Supplier Management: Manage relationships with IT suppliers, service providers, and consultants. Negotiate contracts and ensure high service quality.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all IT activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- IT Security Management: Assess risks, implement and maintain global IT security standards, and manage controls to protect data, systems, and networks.
IT Manager Ideal Candidate :
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with industry regulations.
- Experience with EDI systems.
- Proficiency in the M365 platform.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- Experience managing IT projects across multiple countries.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration abilities.
- Business-level fluency in English.
- A solid understanding of Japanese culture and basic proficiency in Japanese is essential.
