Leap29 are looking for an experienced BESS Project Manager to lead BESS projects across the full product lifecycle—from origination and M&A through development, permitting, grid connection, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning at sites in Provence-Alpes-Côte d\'Azur.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience managing BESS, energy storage, substations or complex electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience across project development and project delivery.
• Experience with planning, permitting, consenting and stakeholder engagement for energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting and leading M&A, acquisitions, investments, due diligence or development partnerships within energy or infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Lead BESS projects from initial opportunity identification and site assessment through development, investment decision and construction.
• Assess new sites and development opportunities from technical, commercial, grid, planning and delivery perspectives.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of BESS development opportunities.
• Identify, establish and manage relationships with co-development partners, landowners, developers, utilities, investors and strategic partners.
• Structure and manage co-development arrangements from initial discussions through to development agreements, investment decisions and project delivery.
• Identify, screen and access potential BESS acquisition, development and partnership opportunities.
• Support M&A transactions from initial opportunity assessment through due diligence, valuation, investment approval and transaction close.
• Lead the planning, permitting and consenting strategy for BESS projects.
• Manage planning consultants and coordinate planning applications and supporting technical studies.
• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across BESS projects.
• Manage concept, feasibility, and detailed design through to construction and commissioning

Leap29 are looking for an experienced BESS Project Manager to lead BESS Projects acrosss the full product lifecycle- from Origination, M&A, and development through permitting, grid connection, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Responsible for identifying and developing new BESS opportunities, managing relationships with co-development partners and landowners, progressing planning and permitting strategies, supporting acquisitions and investments, and taking projects through construction and into operation. Candidates should have a combination of strong project management skills and a detailed understanding of BESS Technology, energy infrastructure, development processes and their regions energy market.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Bess projects from initial opportunity identification and site assessment through development, investment decision and construction

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience(5 years minimum) managing BESS, energy storage, renewable energy, substations or complex electrical infrastructure projects
• Experience across project development and project delivery
• Experience with planning, permitting, consenting and stakeholder engagement for energy infrastructure projects
• Experience supporting and leading M&A, acquisitions, investments, due diligence or development partnerships within energy or infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of BESS technology, grid connection and electrical infrastructure
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, OEMs and EPC contractors
