Job Description

How does your working day look like …

  1. Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  2. Assist guests with luggage, ensuring timely and efficient handling to and from rooms.
  3. Escort guests to their rooms when necessary, ensuring they have all the information needed for their stay.
  4. Ensure all luggage is tagged, stored, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Regularly inspect luggage storage areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and safe.
  6. Handle and store guests' packages with care, ensuring they are delivered promptly to the recipient.
  7. Bike and Trolley Maintenance & Cleaning: Ensure all hotel bikes are clean, in good condition, and ready for guest use. Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain trolleys. Keep the lobby and driveway clean and organized. Provide coverage for the hotel driveway, greeting guests, assisting with luggage, and supporting valet traffic management.
  8. Ensure all guest interactions are positive, warm, and personalized, creating lasting memories and exceptional service.
  9. Use positive body language and maintain an approachable, friendly demeanor at all times.
  10. Keep the lobby, entrance, luggage areas, and driveway spotless and welcoming. Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
  11. Administration & Record-Keeping: Document luggage storage, deliveries, and guest messages accurately. Keep updated on daily operations, including occupancy and VIP guests. Assist with training new team members and contribute to a positive team culture. Follow all health, safety, fire, and hygiene policies and respect guest privacy and security protocols.
Qualifications

  1. You’ve gained experience in a similar role, and can speak English fluently.
  2. You can inspire your fellow staff and guests, know your way around town, and have tips for partying.
  3. You’re a doer, willing to admit mistakes and learn.
  4. You bring character as well as abilities.
  5. You have good written & spoken English skills. Additional languages (Russian, Spanish, German, Chinese, etc.) are preferred.
  6. You are well-trained in guest relations and hospitality communication.
  7. You project a smiling, helpful attitude and provide courteous, professional service.
  8. You stay informed about hotel services, local attractions, and events to assist guests effectively.
  9. You offer personalized recommendations on hotel offerings and local activities.
