Rolling Hills Hospital is a 130-bed behavioral health facility seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist to support patients ages 13+ with medical and behavioral health challenges. You will work under supervision to assist with direct care, support therapeutic activities, and promote daily living skills in a structured environment.

Shift options include day and night rotations (7A-7P; 7P-7A) with weekends rotating.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Healthcare, Mental health, Recreation therapy, Education, or Human growth and development.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English.

Rolling Hills Hospital is a 130-bed behavioral health hospital in Franklin, Tennessee, providing inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use treatment services for adolescents, adults, and seniors. We are seeking dedicated and patient‑focused individuals to join our team as Behavioral Health Specialists. In this role, you will support patients between ages 13 and beyond who are experiencing medical and behavioral health challenges. Working under the supervision of an LPN/RN and as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, you will:

• Assist with direct patient care and daily management
• Support therapeutic and leisure programming
• Promote activities of daily living based on each patient’s developmental level and abilities

Your work will play a vital role in helping patients progress toward their treatment goals in a supportive and structured environment.

DAY SHIFT (7A-7PM), NIGHT SHIFT (7P-7A); 12 Hour shifts three days a week. Rotating weekends.

Qualifications

Education & Training

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or college coursework in:
  • Healthcare
  • Mental health
  • Recreational therapy
  • Education
  • Human growth and development
• Must demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English

Licensure & Certifications

• CPR Certification – training provided
• Handle With Care (HWC) Certification – training provided

Experience

• Preferred: At least one year of experience in one of the following roles or similar settings:
  • Nurse’s aide
  • Mental health aide
  • Psychiatric aide
  • Rehabilitation or psychiatric care
