Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem pool to join our growing team. The RN provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team, and contributes to medical management and assessment of patients.

They ensure environmental safety, crisis management, and oversee behavior management program implementation. The RN also trains staff, documents care, and updates the master treatment plan to reflect changes in patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN license in the state (Tennessee) or corresponding state.
• CPR certification.
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification (training provided).

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Manage/assess patients; ensure environmental safety and crisis management.
• Direct implementation of behavior management programs and monitor outcomes.
• Make patient and task assignments to subordinates and supervise duties.
• Provide training and education to staff, patients, families; document care.
• Maintain timeliness of nursing care plan updates in the master treatment plan.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to maintain a consistently therapeutic milieu.

Is responsible for making the patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitors their duties. The Registered Nurse provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and ensures data is accurate and included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. Works with the treatment team to provide consistently therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee required
• Nursing experience in the behavioral health field preferred
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred
• CPR certification (training provided)
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification (training provided)
