Position Overview

The role of a beauty advisor is to have a passion for people and service, with experience in retail, artistry, and education. The candidate must be a strong seller, with the ability to pull, consult and build a sale while adhering to our retailer’s guidelines and standards. A beauty advisor must have the ability to consistently meet targets and is open to coaching from the counter manager & ABH leadership team. They should possess strong communication skills and build collaborative relationships both internally and externally. A passion for client service, artistry, and working in an entrepreneurial environment is critical to your success in the role.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional client service
  • Responsible for the achievement of personal targets and KPI
  • Delivering Best-in-class education to elevate brand awareness and drive sales
  • Ability to implement coaching and receive both positive and constructive feedback in a professional manner
  • Support team in obtaining visual merchandising expectations
  • Accountable for maintaining their area of pride on a daily and weekly basis. This includes stocking, managing testers in partnership with CM, and communicating any out of stock (OOS) or low SKU counts
  • Adhere to ABH Dress code guidelines, while consistently evolving looks to reflect current trends

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of cosmetic retail experience
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional client service
  • Track record of meeting personal and counter sales targets and KPI
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships with leadership and team
  • Outstanding communication skills
