About the role

We are seeking passionate and experienced baristas to join our newly opened establishment.

The Monocle Cafe, located on Rue Bachaumont, is an intimate and lively space offering artisanal coffee and tasty treats. It is a welcoming environment that showcases our passion for hospitality.

Success in this role requires the ability to work effectively as part of a small team and a commitment to delivering excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing a thorough understanding of our menu items and products, and preparing a variety of beverages and coffees, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options
• Utilizing your barista expertise and in-depth knowledge of exceptional coffee
• Providing outstanding customer service and effectively handling customer feedback
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and proper maintenance of cafe equipment
• Accurately processing customer orders and payments
• Supporting the planning and execution of cafe events

Our cafe operates seven days a week. Benefits include Allpress barista training and staff discounts at the cafe and Monocle shop.
