Job Title: Bank Receptionist - Imaging | Customer Service, Administration | Bank | Bristol | Free Parking

Job Description: Spire Bristol Hospital is currently recruiting a Receptionist to join our Imaging team on a bank basis. The role involves welcoming patients politely and courteously, registering and directing patients, consultants, and hospital staff professionally and proactively, and providing efficient administrative support within hospital policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming, registering, and accurately collecting patient details, including credit card information.
  • Directing patients, consultants, and hospital teams confidently and professionally.
  • Ensuring compliance with NHS forms and processes.
  • Handling cash according to the 'Handling Cash Policy.'
  • Discharging patients into the computer system accurately.
  • Managing the hospital switchboard efficiently, responding promptly to calls and inquiries.
  • Performing clerical duties such as checking bed status reports, ordering/distributing newspapers, issuing visitor badges, and booking taxis.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A personable individual capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Good basic PC skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Experience in customer service and information management systems.
  • Previous receptionist experience or equivalent is essential.

Working Hours: This is a bank role with shifts between 7 am and 8 pm, including weekends. Bank colleagues are paid weekly and offered flexible working rates, with benefits including free onsite parking, pension, uniform, DBS, full induction, training opportunities, and support from the Spire Resourcing Team.
