About us

Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.
While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.
Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.
The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.

We are currently seeking a Product Performance & E-Merchandising specialist who will report to the E-merchandising manager.

Job Description

Your opportunity

In the E-merchandising team, you will manage the ecom product launches & catalog, ensure the best quality of assets for the products (images, prices, description, etc), content asset management in line with marketing calendar.

How you will contribute

  • Coordinate ecom product launches in line with marketing plans and market requirements, collaborating closely with the Buying and Digital Content teams.
  • Ensure consistency of information on product sheets and visual merchandising, segment the offer, and provide product recommendations in collaboration with the E-VM Coordinator.
  • Implement and manage the e-merchandising strategy, including site ergonomics and customer journey optimization. Update the merchandising of redirect pages and verify the availability of promoted products.
  • Collaborate with regional e-commerce teams (where possible) to optimize site search functionality and improve result rankings.
  • Update site content based on marketing priorities and communication highlights. Prepare mock-up pages for validation and configure editorial pages.
  • Analyze product, page, and clickstream performance to enhance product availability and conversion metrics.
  • Prepare seasonal product launches, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Publish products bi-weekly, maintaining a consistent update schedule.
  • Contribute to product launches, supporting various aspects of the launch process.
  • Optimize searchandising to improve product visibility and search results.
  • Update PLP banners and media blocks to ensure current and engaging content.

Who you are

  • An excellent communicator with a strong data & ecommerce background (Content Square or any analytical + emerchandising tool)
  • An expert of ECOM platform (Salesforce/Magento/shopify etc) + PIM/DAM experience
  • Organized, rigorous and conscientious
  • A very collaborative mindset and able to disrupt internal teams
  • A person fluent in English and French
  • An expert in the Pack Office
