• 3+ years experience in a backup environment with strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, and automation scripting.

The position is open in Portugal and in France.

ENVIRONMENT

This resource will join a team of IT professionals involved in delivery and maintenance activities within the shared services team of AXA Group.

The role will be integrated into product support teams, collaborating closely with local and global teams covering:

• Management of systems, databases, and networks
• Application maintenance and support
• IPC process management
• Project management
• QoS and governance

Main activities include:

• IT Infrastructure support for AXA Business and Development teams

Technical activities:

• Production support and IT Service delivery
• Support development & maintenance of AXA Applications

These teams oversee the product lifecycle from studies to delivery and maintenance, driven by innovation and execution to meet AXA’s operational goals.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As an experienced IT Production Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing Backup platforms, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance
• Participating as an expert in future backup solution projects
• Monitoring production and resolving technical incidents
• Reporting on backup activities and coordinating with Managed Services
• Documenting production processes accurately
• Supporting incident, problem, and change management in an enterprise environment
• Improving system stability and performance
• Creating operational and implementation guidelines
• Implementing Standard Work Requests using ServiceNow
• Troubleshooting incidents within technical areas
• Developing automation scripts and batches in collaboration with development teams
• Supporting and monitoring services on production servers
• Documenting processes according to internal standards

PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

Technical skills (must have):

• Cloud knowledge: Security, Networking, AWS, Azure
• Commvault solutions
• IBM Spectrum Protect V8 or later
• NetApp skills (preferred)
• Knowledge of CMX archiving tool (a plus)
• Scripting and automation skills (Korn shell mandatory, PowerShell a plus)
• Strong understanding of IT and data center infrastructure
• Minimum 3 years experience in a backup environment
• Prioritizing security: audits, vulnerability remediation, patch support
• Ability to meet service levels and propose action plans
• Experience troubleshooting backup jobs across platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Windows, VMware, UNIX)

• Upper intermediate English proficiency (spoken and written)
• French/Dutch language skills appreciated

Ability to travel or be relocated temporarily within Europe.
