The Location Platforms team at Yahoo builds and operates high-scale services for reverse geocoding, IP geolocation, POI search, and real-time location inference—serving billions of requests daily across Yahoo’s product ecosystem.

You will develop production-grade location APIs and data pipelines, work on Linux environments across cloud and on-prem Hadoop, and participate in on-call rotations while writing tests and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience building scalable applications or platform services.

Responsabilités

• Develop, test, and deploy production-ready code for location services.
• Implement solutions from designs established by senior engineers.
• Write comprehensive unit and functional tests and improve reliability.
