Mistral.ai is seeking a passionate Backend Engineer to build and maintain scalable backend features and APIs powering our Cloud solutions for enterprise users.

You will design robust architectures, collaborate with product, front-end, and data/AI teams, and contribute to system reliability, security, and observability. Join a distributed team across Europe and beyond, delivering end-to-end capabilities with strong ownership.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Golang with strong backend fundamentals and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-prem/bare-metal setups.
• Ability to own features end-to-end with attention to quality and performance.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend features and APIs.
• Build robust, high-performance systems and APIs for enterprise users.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end, data/AI engineers and designers.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Design secure, scalable architectures and optimize performance.
