Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Avionics Network Architect (f/m) to join our Avionics Products Development department based in Toulouse, France.
You will join a team of ~15 people based in Toulouse, within Avionics & Simulation Domain that is Airbus avionics equipment internal supplier but also the expertise center (so-called 'Chamber of Reference') for this perimeter.
The actual context is the development of several brand new computers based on product lines strategy (i.e. using hardware & software bricks) while supporting existing avionics products and also preparing the future avionic products (targeting disruptive computers);
Along with the development and the preparation of the future, we also establish new Ways of Working in order to adjust them to new technologies and/or to be more efficient.

Within this exciting and challenging context, you will play a key role for designing the future avionics products through the following activities:
Identify the key technologies for the future of our products;
Participate to benchmark with other avionics products suppliers;
Elaborate the roadmap for new technology for avionics products;
Federate specialists and experts around strategic design objectives;
Based on needs defined,design new disruptive onboard computers through:
- definition of product requirements (incl. Perf., Safety, Quality, Industrial & environmental)
- animation of trade-off to select the best architecture with HW&SW architects;
- allocation of product requirements to HW, SW and 'means' (e.g. test, production ...)
- contribute to safety analysis and demonstration for flight tests;
Disseminate acquired knowledge throughout Airbus
Support the domain strategy in order to remain the Airbus 'Chamber of Reference';

Strong experience in Electronic devices at Equipment or System level with proven experiences in both Hardware and Software;
Experience with development such as FPGA, Microprocessors, Electronics board, embedded critical Software;
Good undertsanding/kownledge of aeronautical stakes e.g. Safety, reliability, value for customers and certification standards (e.g. ARP4754, ARP5761, DO178, DO254, DO160, .…);
Willingness to foster/support innovation, proposing new vision and new products;
Good analysis / synthesis skills;
A negotiation level of French and English is required.
Salary range:
Salary range based on the required profile: 55 to 65K€/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
