Ascentis in Toulouse, France, offers a six-month AI and software engineering internship focused on teaching AI to read the paper life of aircraft and automate aviation document processing.

You'll work with JavaScript, Docker, LLMs, OCR, computer vision, knowledge graphs and vector databases to build scalable data pipelines, trace aircraft dossiers, and ship real features from week one.

Qualifications

• Not document search is the focus, but deriving the truth from complex data.
• Read the unreadable and resolve identity in noisy dossiers.
• Build the graph to connect parts of the aircraft lifecycle.

Responsabilités

• Teardown & part-out: trace every rotable and LLP, or it doesn't sell.
• Pre-purchase inspection: find discrepancies before the buyer's engineer does.
• Lease return: prove aircraft meets its return conditions.
• Asset trading: trace engines, APUs, landing gear, LLPs.
