Rely seeks a seasoned T2 Systems Architect & Technical Authority to own the cross-layer autonomy architecture from sensors and compute to middleware and field-proven behaviours. The role requires turning perception, localisation, navigation, planning and behaviour into a robust field capability.

Responsibilities include defining the T2 reference architecture, owning perception and sensor fusion, and coordinating with T1/T3 to ensure bounded, explainable autonomy and operator awareness even under

Qualifications

• 10+ years in robotics/autonomy, field robotics, or deployable AI/robotics systems.
• Experience defining large-scale cross-layer architecture for perception, localisation, planning and behaviour.

Responsabilités

• Define the T2 reference architecture across sensors, compute, middleware and autonomy software.
• Own perception, sensor fusion, localisation, GNSS-denied navigation, planning and behaviour-management strategy.
• Arbitrate sensor/compute/middleware/software trade-offs against robustness, latency and maintainability.
• Set autonomy ODDs, KPIs, maturity gates and validation scenarios.
• Coordinate with T1 to keep autonomy bounded, explainable and safe; coordinate with T3 for operator awareness under degraded links.
