Job summary

UPS in Roswell, Georgia, is seeking an Automotive Technician to maintain a diverse fleet of delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers. You will work with diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems and troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.

The role requires hands-on tool use, ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, and compliance with DOT and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B or A CDL preferred.
• Dependable with ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements as per job assignment.
• Operates standard and manual transmissions.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
• Bends, stoops, climbs, and moves through the workday as required.
