Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a System and Software Architect to advance the CoreRide platform architecture within the Automotive System and Platform Architecture organization. The role focuses on defining architecture solutions and engaging with OEM advanced engineering teams to extend NXP capabilities in processing, networking, power management, security and safety.

You will contribute through analysis and prototyping to explore partitioning, KPIs and trade-offs across Central or Zonal

Qualifications

• Experience defining and developing system and software architecture.
• Knowledge of vehicle functions and software platforms.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Use Architecture systems and Software engineering tools to understand architecture trade-offs and how they are impacted by NXP products – e.g. network topologies, functional safety, wake-up times, communication latencies, security, power distribution & management, etc
• Hands-On, Prototyping on different Archetype to analyse and explore different partitioning and Key Performance Indicators (Power and Performance)
• Collaborate with NXP engineering and Architecture Automotive teams on various Architecture exploration, analysis and execution
• Define System and Software Architecture solutions for our CoreRide platforms that covers different archetypes, either Central or Zonal
• Deliver System and Software Architecture specifications and support the execution teams ensuring feedback loop and fast convergence
