Job summary

Boyd's Tire & Service in Central Ohio is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical repairs such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments and more, while training alongside ASE Certified Technicians for future advancement.

You will safely transport customers, pick up parts, perform basic services, conduct inspections, document vehicle condition and keep the shop clean, all while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred.
• High level of motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts and tires from vendors using the company vehicle.
• Operates the company vehicle safely and obeys all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections ethically following guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by supervision.
• Documents vehicle condition using inspection/repair orders.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and service areas.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
