Main Street Auto in Hickory, NC is seeking a General Tire & Lube Technician to perform essential maintenance services and support a high‑performing team. You will handle tire rotations, oil changes, and basic inspections to keep vehicles safe and running smoothly.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Tire & Lube Technician is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely operate shop tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good time-management and ability to work efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Mansioni

• Perform tire rotations, installations, repairs, and balancing.
• Complete oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid services.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Assist with wheel alignments and verify proper handling and tire wear.
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and time spent.
• Provide friendly, helpful service when assisting customers with tire or maintenance questions.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
