Currently looking for an Automation Project Manager in Dole, France , who will lead and coordinate projects to develop automation solutions — from gathering requirements to commissioning — supporting new product development and process improvements to boost efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

About the job:

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and working groups.

• Define project objectives, action plans, and schedules; ensure alignment with resources and priorities.

• Propose, justify, and implement technical solutions; manage risks and quality impacts.

• Report progress clearly to senior management and stakeholders.

• Develop specifications, technical documents, and cost estimates for automation equipment.

• Drive new concepts for lines and processes; identify and apply best practices.

• Oversee project phases, validation, and results.

• Provide technical support to production and quality teams; train colleagues in automation know-how.

• Stay up to date with new technologies and support the testing and qualification of new solutions.

• Suggest and implement improvements for existing equipment and processes.

• Represent the department in internal and external meetings and manage external suppliers (specifications, negotiations, follow-up).

About you:

• Degree in Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• Proven track record in managing automation projects.

• Experience with continuous improvement tools and measurement/simulation techniques.

• Proficient in office software and good English skills.

• Knowledge of company organization, products, manufacturing processes, and equipment.

• Familiar with cross-functional management and quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Proactive, autonomous, and able to manage stress and priorities.

• Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
