Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by expertly repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. The role requires disassembly, repair, reassembly, and collaboration with the team to meet KPI targets and uphold the brand promise of speed and quality.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, preparing estimates, using a range of tools, realigning chassis, replacing parts, welding and painting, and ensuring work orders meet labor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsabilités

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicle sections.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and attach fittings; prep and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
