Job summary

Centria Autism, a division of Centria Healthcare, seeks a Behavior Technician to support children with autism through Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. Work may occur in the child’s home or at a Centria center, with part- or full-time options and training to ensure success.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to participate in background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to physically perform job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs and mobility.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group direct client care using teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow behavior protocols outlined by BCBA/BC.
• Record data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with caregiver training.
• Ensure timely documentation following Centria procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents/caregivers per BCBA/BC guidance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized therapy environment.
• Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments.
