Description du poste

We are seeking an experienced Analytical Development Scientist to join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing pharmaceutical development. This role is critical to support the high influx of work within the Analytical Development unit, with responsibilities spanning method development, validation, and cross-functional collaboration. The position offers a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct method development and validation activities in alignment with QBD principles.
• Perform advanced chromatographic analyses using tools such as Empower, Chromeleon, or Fusion QBD software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including formulation, CMC transfer, and regulatory affairs to drive project progress.
• Contribute to the full pharmaceutical pipeline, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality protocols.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the decision-making process.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to interns or junior team members as needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications :

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Analytical Development.
• Proven expertise in method development and validation.
• Strong understanding of QBD principles and their practical applications.
• Proficiency in chromatography techniques.
• At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• A Master’s degree, ideally in Chemistry or a related field.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Previous experience mentoring or working with interns.
• Hands-on experience with chromatography software such as Empower, Chromeleon, or Fusion QBD.

Project and Team Details :

• Join a team of four within the Analytical Development unit.
• Work across the entire pharmaceutical pipeline without therapeutic area specificity.
• Split responsibilities between laboratory work (50%) and desk-based tasks or meetings (50%).
• Start Date : March 1st.
• Duration : Initial 6-month contract, with potential extensions based on project needs.
• Full-time freelance position.
