Audit & Contract Compliance Manager

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS), part of the Veolia Group, is a global leader in water recovery, treatment, and reuse solutions. This role will report to the Director of Compliance and Governance, taking responsibility for managing both internal and external audits while overseeing global contract management activities. The position requires a strategic mindset combined with practical expertise in procurement and contract management.

The role encompasses two main areas: Leading audit preparation and execution across financial, quality, and group audits, while tracking findings through to completion. Additionally, you will oversee global contract management, including template development, risk assessment, and policy creation to ensure robust supplier relationships.

What are the Day-to-Day Duties?

1. Develop and maintain standardised contract templates and terms & conditions
2. Lead audit preparation and manage stakeholder relationships during audits
3. Review supplier contracts for potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
4. Oversee contract management tools and databases
5. Conduct periodic audits of existing contracts
6. Monitor and report progress on audit findings
7. Develop and implement delegation of authority strategy
8. Provide expert guidance on contract interpretation and negotiation

Qualifications

What Skills and Experience Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

1. Proven experience in procurement or contract management
2. Strong understanding of SAP modules, particularly MM, P2P, and AP
3. Demonstrated ability in developing procedures and work instructions
4. Experience in managing global cross-functional teams
5. Strategic thinking with analytical problem-solving capabilities
6. Excellence in verbal and written communication
7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or Supply Chain (or industry experience)
8. Knowledge of contract management principles and procurement methods
