UNESCO is seeking an Associate Project Officer (Membership and Platform Management) to support ASPnet Connect, manage membership processes and coordinate IT functions. The role involves overseeing development, data migration, user rights, and training to ensure efficient platform operation for National Coordinators and UNESCO staff.

The incumbent will work under the ASPnet International Coordination Unit, contributing to data accuracy and continuous platform improvements while supporting

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in data management, digital platform management, information systems or project management.
• Experience with complex large datasets, data migration and validation.
• Experience in IT project management and/or administration of collaborative digital platforms.

Responsabilités

• Support design and oversee development of new functions to enhance community interactions.
• Make minor configuration adjustments under IT development guidance.
• Oversee membership application submission and workflow approvals.
• Monitor external software providers for contractual obligations and timelines.
• Evaluate platform functionalities and user feedback to propose improvements.
• Assist with user rights management according to UNESCO policies.
• Establish user support mechanisms and facilitate Q&A or forums.
• Coordinate training sessions for National Coordinators and UNESCO staff.
• Conduct risk assessments and report vulnerabilities promptly.
• Produce regular membership reports and templates.
• Ensure data in the digital directory is up to date through ongoing coordination.
