Duration of contract: 1 year with possibility of extension subject to availability of funds and satisfactory performance.
Under the overall authority of the Assistant Director General for Education and of the Director ED/ED2030 and under the direct supervision of the Chief, Section of Education for Gender Equality, the incumbent will work closely with Programme Specialists and Project Officers, and liaise with UNESCO country offices and other relevant Sectors and Divisions (Division for Communications and Public Engagement, the Gender Equality Division in the Office of the Director-General and the Sector for Priority Africa and External Relations).
Accountability
UNESCO’s salaries consist of a basic salary and other benefits which may include if applicable: 30 days annual leave, family allowance, medical insurance, pension plan etc.
The approximate annual starting salary for this post is USD 72,452 US $.
