Job Description:

Would you like to be responsible for the maintenance of our state-of-the-art aseptic production equipment? Do you want to manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians? Are you eager to work with international stakeholders? If so, you might be the person we are looking for!

This opportunity is based at our Chartres production site, which is benefiting from a massive €2.1 billion investment as part of a global program covering multiple sites worldwide. We offer a permanent contract (CDI) with daytime working hours.

Our Department

You will report to our Project Director and be responsible for a team of nine maintenance technicians (with potential future recruitments). You will collaborate with our local maintenance teams, other internal departments (cross-functional work), and international teams (Denmark).

Role

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating maintenance operations on our aseptic equipment (e.g., filling machines, autoclaves, isolators) to ensure optimal equipment and system performance. You will work closely with maintenance teams based in Denmark and local maintenance teams, actively participating in workshops to share knowledge and implement best practices. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and standardizing maintenance practices in collaboration with international teams to align maintenance objectives with the company's global vision.
  • Supervising the creation and optimization of maintenance programs (preventive, corrective, and predictive) to maximize equipment lifespan and ensure system reliability. This includes using FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), taxonomy, and failure investigation tools (Ishikawa, A3, 3C…).
  • Collaborating with your team to build a comprehensive maintenance documentation structure. This includes creating maintenance reports and developing the team’s ability to conduct failure investigations (Failure Investigation Tree) to identify root causes and propose improvements.
  • Creating and managing a spare parts inventory, including SAP coding, supplier selection, and stock level management in collaboration with the site's Asset Management department.
  • Managing, coaching, and developing your team by setting clear objectives and KPIs, distributing tasks efficiently, and providing training.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a production environment (automotive, chemical, food, cosmetics…). Knowledge of best practices in industrial maintenance, including Quality standards, Lean processes, FMEA methodologies, and taxonomy systems.
  • A strong interest in management, coaching, and team development. Experience in creating and delivering training sessions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, innovation mindset, and openness to collaboration. You enjoy working cross-functionally and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
