A boutique investment bank in Paris is looking for an Associate to join their team. You will play a key role in executing European and UK transactions in M&A, Capital Raising, and Debt Advisory within the Infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of investment banking experience, strong financial modelling skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Fluency in French is preferred but not essential, offering an excellent chance to gain exposure to senior bankers and clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of investment banking experience from a Bulge Bracket, Boutique or Mid Market investment bank.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise.
• Experience working on UK and/or European transactions.

Metis Search are working with a boutique investment bank specialised in the Infrastructure sector looking to add an Associate to their team in Paris.

The platform is in an exciting period of growth, and are highly regarded within the Infrastructure space. They work across Digital, Energy and Transport & offer high-impact strategic advisory across complex domestic and cross-border transactions, through M&A, Capital Raising and Debt Advisory.

This is an opportunity to join a highly dynamic & entrepreneurial team whilst gaining meaningful responsibility & exposure to transactions, senior bankers & clients from day one at Associate level.

Key responsibilities

• Integral role in the execution of European & UK transactions for M&A, Capital Raising and Debt Advisory across the Infrastructure spectrum.
• Lead financial analysis and valuation workstreams including DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
• Prepare high-quality client presentations and materials for internal valuation and approval processes
• Coordinate deal execution processes, including documentation and stakeholder management
• Review and oversee analysts’ financial models and materials, ensuring accuracy and quality control
• Engage directly with senior bankers and clients throughout live mandates
• 3+ years of investment banking experience from a Bulge Bracket, Boutique or Mid Market investment bank with strong transaction experience & some exposure to Infrastructure.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise
• Experience working on UK and/or European transactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong project management and multitasking capability
• High academic achievement and a strong analytical mindset
• Fluency in French is preferred but not essential.
