As our Associate HR Business Partner, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Supporting the IDT HR Business Partner to execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of the business objectives across IDT. In cases where the HRBP is not available this role becomes the deputy HRBP and will act on behalf of them when needed.
  • Directly dedicated as HRBP for the Sewio business as well as the larger RTLS Business Unit this role will support leaders and employees predominantly in Czech Republic, US and Canada.
  • Working closely with all levels of the organization but particular attention will be given to managers and the teams they will support. This client group and preferred way of working will be defined by the HRBP for IDT.
  • Supporting the HRBP when it comes to managing the Manufacturing Footprint and/or Merger and Acquisition deliverables within the IDT BA, coordinating and involving the applicable HR Advisor(s) on the execution of tasks when needed.
  • Serving as a consultant and advisor to the defined client group with regards to talent acquisition, employee relations, coaching, performance management, organizational design, analysis and implementation, change management, talent assessments, leadership development, succession planning programs and more.
  • Offering guidance and advice to client group teams on operational HR activities in accordance with the local, regional and global policies and procedures and employment legislation and guide teams to regional/local HR support as required.
  • Coaching and counseling the client group to help them create and promote employee engagement within the organization.
  • Providing direction and insight in recruitment and selection of key talent. In this role it is considered you will play a more active role in the recruitment efforts at the manager and senior individual contributor level within the BA.
  • Collaborating and working closely with local HR Advisors to follow up on activities needed to support the BA. This also may include alignment to corporate driven programs such as Compensation/Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Systems and Processes, Global Compliance, Global Metrics, ASSA ABLOY programs.
  • Monitoring HR compliance requirements in the business and ensure that risk to HID is managed.
  • Participating in both the HID-wide and ASSA ABLOY-wide HR initiatives.

Your Experience and Background include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • General knowledge of key HR processes and practices – recruitment, training, compensation, performance management, talent development, employee relations, change management.
  • Ability to travel internationally when needed (up to 20% travel).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
