Description du poste

At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways.

If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Relationship Manager to join our Government team, with a focus on the French Government sector. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of existing government clients while identifying and pursuing whitespace opportunities to drive new business.

You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to lead the sales process for a wide array of data-driven solutions. Our offerings support key ministries and agencies across domains such as global entity networks, cyber resiliency, climate and disaster intelligence, financial risk, sanctions, adverse media, advanced research tools, AI, and workflow platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and qualify new opportunities in the Government and Public sector, initiating and managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of meetings, presentations, and proposals within the Government space.
  • Grow and support existing client relationships to drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Understand clients’ strategic initiatives, procurement criteria, decision-making processes, and constraints.
  • Present tailored solutions in a consultative, value-based sales approach.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and seminars as appropriate.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders and influencers, expanding your network within the Government sector.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to support the implementation of complex, enterprise-level solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in B2B sales, with a strong record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proven experience selling into the Government and Public Sector; SaaS or data-driven solutions preferred.
  • Skilled in managing long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships.
  • Commercially astute, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a drive to succeed.
  • Results-driven, determined, and flexible, with a strong and disciplined work ethic
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring up to 50% travel to engage with clients face-to-face, while also providing the flexibility of hybrid working.
  • Fluency in French & English
