Description du poste

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, independent global advisory firm headquartered in New York, with offices across the US, UK, and Europe. Founded in 2020, this firm combines the experience and global reach of a major institution with the agility and creativity of a boutique investment bank. With approximately 30 professionals and a network of 115+ senior advisors spanning 45 countries, this is an exceptional platform for a high-calibre Associate to gain exposure to complex, cross-border transactions at the heart of European deal-making.

The firm recently announced a landmark $500 million co-investment strategic alliance with a leading $8 billion credit platform, reinforcing its position at the forefront of the rapidly growing $2.0 trillion private credit industry. It has also expanded aggressively across EMEA, adding senior bankers in Milan, Bucharest, Lisbon, and beyond, as well as forging strategic partnerships in the Middle East and Africa.

This Associate will join the Paris-based team led by a Managing Director who brings over 25 years of international investment banking experience across M&A, high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and complex debt structuring. His career spans leadership roles at three of the world's top-tier global banks — in New York, Hong Kong, and Europe — giving the team unparalleled cross-border expertise. He is also an active investor in French fintech and healthcare startups, offering the Associate unique exposure to innovation-driven deal flow.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of private capital markets transactions across debt, hybrid, equity, and M&A — from origination through structuring to closing
  • Prepare financial models, valuations, investment memoranda, pitchbooks, and client presentations
  • Conduct sector and company research, market analysis, and due diligence across European and cross-border mandates
  • Assist in structuring complex financing solutions including high-yield, leveraged finance, private credit, and bespoke capital structures
  • Engage directly with clients — corporates, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and institutional investors — under the mentorship of senior team members
  • Coordinate with the firm's global network of advisors and deal teams across the US, UK, Nordics, and broader EMEA
  • Support roll-up acquisition strategies and consolidation mandates in regulated European sectors
  • Contribute to the firm's growing pipeline of special situations and capital solutions transactions
Candidate Profile

Required:

  • 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, leveraged finance, or debt capital markets at a bank, advisory firm, or Big 4 transaction services practice
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, credit analysis)
  • Proficiency in preparing pitch materials, information memoranda, and client-ready deliverables
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is essential given the Paris base and the firm's global client reach
  • Degree from a top-tier university or Grande École (finance, economics, business, or engineering preferred)
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset suited to a high-growth, lean environment

Preferred:

  • Prior exposure to private credit, structured finance, or cross-border M&A transactions
  • Additional European language skills (Spanish, German, Italian, or Portuguese) are a plus
  • Interest in fintech, healthcare, or innovation sectors
What Makes This Role Compelling
  • Unmatched deal exposure — work on complex, cross-border private capital transactions that large banks often cannot or will not engage with
  • Entrepreneurial culture — join a lean, senior-heavy team where Associates are close to decision-makers and clients from day one
  • Global network — access to 115+ senior advisors across 45 countries, creating a truly international deal environment
  • Rapid growth trajectory — the firm is in a significant expansion phase across EMEA, offering accelerated career development
  • Senior mentorship — work directly with a Managing Director whose career includes leadership at three top-tier global banks across three continents
  • Paris base with global reach — operate from one of Europe's key financial centres while contributing to transactions spanning the US, Europe, Asia, and the EMEA region.
