OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POSTUnder the overall authority of the Director for Communications and Public Engagement (CPE), and the direct supervision of the Senior Communication Officer (Lead, Strategic Planning Team and Crisis Cell),The incumbent coordinates the Division’s teams on technical, financial, and administrative matters, particularly in budget, procurement, risk management, and HR, to support the effective delivery of communication and public engagement initiatives in UNESCO.
Within this context, the incumbent will contribute to the elaboration of UNESCO's strategic objectives and assist in effective programme development and implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

UNESCO’s salaries consist of a basic salary and other benefits which may include if applicable: 30 days annual leave, family allowance, medical insurance, pension plan etc.
The approximate annual starting salary for this post is 68, 555.82 US $.
