Open to contractual staff: Yes, as a derogation from civil servant applications. A contract worker may be recruited pending civil service recruitment. The contract cannot exceed one year, renewable up to a total of 2 years. It is possible to recruit someone who has not passed a public service exam, as one of the grades is an entry-level category C grade allowing direct recruitment without an exam.

Job Responsibilities

Under the authority of the Early Childhood Service Manager, you will ensure the care of children (individually and in groups), create and implement conditions necessary for their well-being, participate in the development and monitoring of the educational project, and design and implement awakening activities.

These functions will be exercised in various schools and nurseries in the municipality to cover replacements as needed.

Activities and Conditions of Exercise

Services: Early Childhood and Families (nurseries)

• Ensure a secure reception and foster bonds with families, listen, and assist with parenting if necessary.
• Report on the child's day and transmit necessary information.

Relations with Children

• Ensure their physical and emotional safety.
• Promote their well-being and awakening activities (games, outings, learning, autonomy, nap support, food diversification).

General Activities

• Contribute to awareness and prevention actions.
• Assist the doctor during visits.
• Maintain cleanliness of educational and care materials.
• Participate in the organization of time and space.
• Contribute to educational project development.

Occasional Activities

• Participate in parent councils, thematic meetings, reflection days.
• Attend team and 'Early Childhood' working group meetings.
• Participate in trainee supervision and support children with disabilities alongside a designated person.
