Job Description: Assistant Producer

The Assistant Producer assists producers as needed in the production process, helping to translate ideas and sounds to film. The responsibilities may include researching and contracting songs and composers, interacting with production houses, and coordinating with all subdepartments regarding their roles in production.

The Assistant Producer will work closely with the internal production studio, agency creatives, and support the production team on larger projects. The role requires skills in core principles of producing: communication, organization, and planning.

The key responsibilities include:

1. Creating, managing, and leading production timelines for internal agency initiatives and client work (social content, photography, experiential, and broadcast including radio and video).
2. Leading and maintaining the production request database and project manager requests for the Production Department.
3. Managing communications between creatives, production partners, vendors, and the internal studio for each project.
4. Coordinating with the account team to manage creative workflows and approvals.
5. Partnering with Business Affairs on estimates and legal details related to production.
6. Maintaining the production department status report in coordination with the Head of Production.
7. Assisting in identifying and managing external vendors, including production companies and freelance talent.
8. Collaborating closely with the Head of Production and Senior Producers on projects.
