Qualifications

About Albea & the Product Line

Albéa is a global leader in beauty, personal care, oral care, pharmaceutical, and food packaging. Our site, Albéa Plouhinec, serves as our European Center of Excellence for Lipsticks, with production of caps, bases, and mechanisms.

Scope

As part of the Service Desk, the candidate will help monitor import shipments between Far East / Europe, U.S.A. / Europe, and Far East / U.S.A. flows.

The work-study program is based in Plouhinec (56).

Main Activities
  • Request quotations from carriers/forwarders in Europe and the U.S.A., follow up, and communicate responses.
  • Analyze shipping schedules from plants in the Far East and Mexico.
  • Participate in weekly shipment follow-up meetings and draft minutes.
  • Assist with shipment tracking using Shiptify software and ERP SAP, and communicate with production sites in Asia and North America.
  • Assist in drafting a monthly market update for internal and external communication.
  • Assist with reporting production data.
Accountability and KPIs
  • Ensure timely responses to internal quotation requests.
  • Produce regular reports.
  • Handle tasks related to international transportation and internal customer service.
  • Possess knowledge of International Trade (B.T.S. or equivalent).
  • Be a student in a Bachelor's degree program in International Trade or Transportation (3rd year of university or license).
  • Be fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Previous experience with an ERP system is preferred.
