Maison Margiela is a Paris-based fashion house founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. Celebrating unconventional aesthetics and embracing the philosophy that fashion is an art of expression rather than a cult of personality, Maison Margiela offers haute couture, ready-to-wear for women and men, contemporary line MM6, footwear, interior design, and accessories, including leather goods, fine jewelry and fragrance.
John Galliano was named Creative Director of the house in 2014, bringing his sense of spectacle and creative mastery to the unique ethos of Maison Margiela. Whilst developing his own vision for the house, John Galliano has entirely respected the Martin Margiela state of mind, creating a fascinating organic process.
In 2002, the French house became part of OTB. Along with sister brands of the group, Maison Margiela continues pushing the boundaries of modern fashion while preserving its distinctive identity and heritage.

We are looking for someone to join one of our Parisian stores as Assistant Store Manager. Under the Store Manager, you will have the responsibilities as follows:

  1. Support the team to transform each client experience into dreamlike moments with a hand-crafted experience.
  2. Create a long-term, authentic bond with your team by fostering growth, listening with respect and inclusion.
  3. Be a liaison with the store manager to drive and achieve individual and team objectives and act as a mentor to the team by proactively offering insights, reflections, and experiences.
  4. Support the Store Manager in driving the store strategy to achieve the best sales performance.
  5. Actively contribute to the development and implementation of business action plans to enhance sales for each product category and client tier segment.
  6. Provide excellent and specialized customer service to develop meaningful and loyal client relationships through CRM initiatives.
  7. Role model best in class sales and self-leadership by playing an active role within your team, and take action to solve problems with positive outcomes.
  8. Actively engage in the wider community and seek inspiration from other sectors to form a cohesive team focused on creating an energetic, exciting, innovative and approachable environment.
  9. Empower team members with autonomy to accomplish tasks effectively and generate enthusiasm for a positive team spirit.
  10. Think innovatively of new ways of creating value and increasing the client experience.
  11. Build and maintain relationships by instilling a sense of belonging and a positive, forward-thinking mindset.

You have previous managerial experiences in the Luxury or Fashion industry.

Ability to drive business and ensure the goals are met.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong in building and maintaining relationships and able to work with different departments.
