Job summary

Linesight is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our global project and cost management consultancy. You will work with experienced teams, supporting the delivery of a wide range of projects with emphasis on MEP, while maintaining strong client and team collaboration.

You will participate in meetings, help monitor progress, implement procedures, and ensure safe work practices on site. This role offers growth through hands-on responsibility and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management with an emphasis on MEP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
• Optionally pursuing a professional project management certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of a wide range of projects.
• Contribute to key meetings to monitor progress and collaborate on solving problems.
• Attend key meetings to monitor progress, actively collaborate on solving problems and communicate impacts to partners.
• Implement project procedures and ensure they are followed.
• Monitor key project processes, coordinate with client to drive improvements.
• Be visible onsite, assess progress and promote safe work practices.
• Produce weekly action plans and chase stakeholders to completion.
• Review variations and delays in the works.
• Coordinate with client, consultant and contractor on snagging activities and schedules.

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Assist in the delivery of a wide range of projects
• Contribute to key meetings to monitor progress and collaborate on solving problems.
• Attend key meetings to monitor progress, actively collaborate on solving problems and communicate impacts to partners.
• Implement project procedures and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that this procedure is always observed
• Implement and monitor key project processes, partnering with the client to make improvements and revisions
• Be a visible participant onsite, assessing progress and ensuring safe work practices.
• Produce weekly action plan for critical activities and chase with all stakeholders till completion of critical activities.
• Review proposed variations and delays in the works
• Coordinate with the client team, consultant team and the contractor on all snagging activities, including the schedule and partner engagement
