Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Paris team. You will develop the project estimate plan, lead the total project estimate, and provide cost guidance within a fast-moving construction environment.

You will collaborate with project teams, manage cost data, and maintain current local rates to support competitive bids. You will have proven estimator experience, strong communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to build trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven years of experience as an Estimator with increasing levels of scope and responsibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and quality focused.
• Ability to build strong relationships with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis; advise on cost contingencies.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to complex problems in line with project objectives.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have grown your experience as an Estimator with proven years expereince with increasing levels of scope and responsibility in a construction environment
• Have demonstrated experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight , or CostX
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline,
• Critical Infrastructure and MEP would be beneficial but a prerequisite.
• Are RICS , CEP or CPE chartered or are on the path to complete it . We can help !
• Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
• Are detail orientated and quality focused
• Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun.

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
