A global business school in Lille is seeking an Assistant Professor in Operations Management to lead research, teach courses, and engage in academic citizenship. Candidates should hold or be nearing completion of a Ph.D. and possess strong research and communication skills. The successful candidate will develop and/or lead academic research projects to publish in the field's highest-quality journals. The position is permanent with a full-time contract. The candidate will be a member of the SKEMA Centre for Analytics and Management Science. The center includes about 20 faculty members and 5 PhD students and focuses on educating students and applying advanced techniques in management science. Current research themes include blockchain in supply chains, healthcare and project scheduling, optimization under uncertainty, queuing theory, interpretable machine learning, mathematical economics, and transportation optimization. The center hosts regular research seminars and international workshops.
