Institut Curie in Orsay invites applications for an Assistant Engineer (AE) in biology to contribute to the development of therapeutic molecules. The role focuses on hands-on cellular assays, including culture, cytotoxicity, IP1, proliferation and invasion analyses, as well as RNA extraction and RT-qPCR, with close collaboration to advance the project.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with culturing adherent cell lines and performing cytotoxicity assays.

The 'Chemistry and Modelling for Cancer Biology' unit (UMR9187) is located at the Institut Curie research centre in Orsay. It is an interdisciplinary unit dedicated to designing and synthesising molecular probes and anti-cancer drug candidates and studying their mechanisms of action. The unit comprises 50 people and is supported by:

• three research teams.
• Two cross-disciplinary divisions (modelling and biology).
• the 'Chimiothèque' platform, which is one of the largest in France with almost 13,000 compounds resulting from 70 years of research.
