The continuous growth of EDF power solutions, along with the increasing complexity and size of projects, highlights the need for a standardized approach to ensure consistency, leverage project volumes, and capitalize on real-time experience.

EDF power solutions is seeking a

Asset Operation Project Director for its Industry Division to oversee the development, commissioning, and operation of projects. You will provide expertise to EDF subsidiaries and manage the Asset Operation package for their development projects. Additionally, you will support projects during due diligence and when studying the internalization of O&M activities for operational power plants.

Reporting to the Industrial & Asset Operation Modelling Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing the Asset Operation package for responses to tenders and financial closings, coordinating with International, Technical, and Purchasing Departments, and partners.
  2. Fostering a proactive Health and Safety culture within project teams and with contractors and suppliers.
  3. Supporting or managing Asset Operation packages for mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence.
  4. Providing support to international subsidiaries for technical integration related to Asset Operation.
  5. Assisting countries in defining or optimizing their Asset Operation strategies.
  6. Developing associated OPEX estimates.
  7. Participating in or coordinating the drafting and negotiation of O&M, EPC, and equipment supply contracts.
  8. Contributing to the deployment of Asset Operation solutions aligned with the Group's Industry Policy.

Additional missions include:

  1. Establishing or updating processes within the team (peer review, database and tool management, tender responses, due diligence).
  2. Training and mentoring IAOM project managers and equivalent roles.
  3. Supporting project governance and ensuring compliance with group policies.
  4. Facilitating and participating in strategic or operational committees.
  5. Leading Readiness to Operate reviews for projects across the portfolio.

Qualifications include a Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in renewable energy project management, specifically in BESS, wind, and solar projects. International experience and operational asset management expertise are required.

Key competencies encompass project management skills (PMP certification preferred), technical knowledge in renewable energy technologies, contract management expertise, and proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.

Fluent English is required; French is a plus, and additional languages are advantageous.

Soft skills involve leadership, adaptability, teamwork, stakeholder management, and excellent communication abilities.

Location: Nanterre (92), accessible via Nanterre-Préfecture RER A station.
