Job Description

You join as a lawyer the «Assets» team of the legal department financing of Natixis, dedicated to the activities of structured financing of transport (aviation), real estate, infrastructures (projects) and energy transition (energy and raw materials). You advise, as required, the business lines in charge of these activities and, in particular, the operational ones based in Paris, London and Dubai. As such, you interact with your internal clients, the business managers of origination, portfolio and distribution, the agent pole, the middle office/back office teams, as well as with the other internal partners of your clients (compliance, green hub, taxation...), your peers in the legal department, your counsel (lawyers, notaries, etc.), and external clients.

Your daily tasks are:

  • Facilitate the fulfilment of your clients' requests by proposing solutions, while carrying out your mission to control legal risks for the bank;
  • Provide pragmatic advice with high added value, communicate it (and possibly defend it) effectively;
  • Participate in the structuring of operations, negotiation and/or review of legal documentation necessary for their implementation, their evolution or distribution, in relation to law firms and mainly in English law (e.g.: confidentiality agreements, credit agreements, sub-participations in risks/cash, personal and real collateral);
  • Participate in the life of the pole “Assets” (fostering the exchange of good practices and team spirit) and contributing to legal working groups or projects outside transactions in the Legal Department.

You work in an international environment, within a community of experts that places excellence, impact and collective action at the heart of everything it does.
