About Entity (ASARI):

The African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI) is a component of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). It is located in Laayoune City, in south of Morocco. Its vision targets real, local, regional, and African challenges in the fields of agriculture in dry lands and marginal environments, animal value chain, water and energy sustainability, biorefinery and bioenergy, cultivation and conversion of micro and macroalgae, and geology and mining.

Oriented towards Africa, ASARI acts in connection with a wide network of universities and research centers around the continent in order to link real field issues with up-to-date science.

Description of the Position:

• Strong expertise in advanced formulation science (Biotech Products for agriculture application)
• Strong expertise in coating biotechnology
• Knowledge and familiarity in chemistry and biomass valorization
• Experience in submission of proposals and contact with funding organizations
• Publish the results in peer-reviewed journals
• Supervise Master and PhD students

Education:

PhD in formulation/coating science or related field from a recognized University

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in research/application in the field of formulation/coating science
• High publication record in leading international and well-ranked journals (at least 5 publications in the last 3 years)
• Experience in supervising Master and PhD students
• Excellent English and French verbal and written skills
