Madbox in Paris is seeking an experienced Art Director for Pocket Champs. You will own the artistic direction of our lead title, crafting a visually compelling and unique game world.

You will lead a 6-person art team (4 Game Artists and 2 UI/UX), ensuring high-quality assets while maintaining production efficiency for a live mobile game. You will collaborate with the Game Director, Development, Design and Marketing, driving the art strategy and long-term vision, while exploring AI-assisted

Qualifications

• 6+ years in free‑to‑play mobile games
• Experience as Lead Artist, Art Manager, Art Director or similar
• Strong background in managing creative teams and bottlenecks
• Deep understanding of F2P mobile games and art's impact on KPIs
• Strong portfolio across 2D, 3D and UI/UX
• Excellent communication skills in English

Responsabilités

• Own the art vision for new features and seasonal content
• Grow and lead a team of 6 (4 Game Artists, 2 UI/UX)
• Oversee the art pipeline balancing vision and live game constraints
• Partner with Game Director and Managers on production strategy
• Coordinate with Development, Game Design, Marketing and Communications
• Explore and adopt AI-assisted processes to boost productivity
