Une entreprise leader dans la logistique maritime recherche un Area Manager pour rejoindre son équipe. Vous serez chargé d'optimiser l'occupation des navires dans une zone commerciale tout en appliquant les politiques commerciales. Une expérience en ventes ou marketing dans le secteur maritime et un diplôme de Master dans un domaine pertinent sont exigés.

Qualifications

  • Au moins 2 ans d'expérience en ventes ou marketing, idéalement dans le secteur maritime.
  • Anglais courant à l'écrit et à l'oral.
  • Bonne maîtrise des outils informatiques.

Responsabilités

  • Assurer l'optimisation de l'occupation des navires dans la zone commerciale.
  • Effectuer des recherches de marché et assurer le suivi des indicateurs de performance.
  • Analyser les performances et proposer des actions correctives.

THE ROLE

As part of a Shipping Line Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring and optimising vessel occupancy in the commercial zone(s) for which you are responsible.

In line with the directives of the Line Management, you will apply the commercial and pricing policy for your zone and deal with all requests for quotations from your agents or customers.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

Firstly, you will ensure that the Line's pricing policy is properly applied to agents, in order to optimise commercial performance and vessel occupancy.

As a real expert in your area, you will monitor marketing. As part of this, you will carry out market research and statistics, and regularly report performance indicators to Line management. You will also monitor the competition and make recommendations.

You will also help to define boarding priorities. Lastly, you will be responsible for analysing performance and deviations from the sales budget in order to propose corrective action.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

With a Master's degree in Commerce, Logistics or Transport, you already have at least 2 years' initial sales or marketing experience, ideally in the maritime sector.

Your English is fluent, both written and spoken, and you have a good command of IT and office tools (particularly Excel). You are organised, autonomous and able to make suggestions.

Your interpersonal skills, sense of communication and team spirit will enable you to succeed in this position.
