Job summary

Northern Lights School Division No in Beauval is seeking a Maintenance/Custodial/Area Maintenance professional to support school facilities. The role requires handling building trades with minimal supervision and ensuring safety and quality in daily upkeep.

Salary ranges from $29.95 to $35.04 per hour, with an allowance for tools and safety gear, and a comprehensive benefits package. Valid driver's license and ability to perform heavy work are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent diploma.
• Valid fireman's certificate.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in one or more of the building trades.
• Computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment required to perform assigned work.
• Ability to produce quality work.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other trades and contractors.
• Ability to do heavy work (exert 100lbs of force occasionally and up to 50 lbs of force frequently and 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects).
