We are seeking Solutions Architects to support French Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers in the Energy sector. Combining business knowledge, technical understanding, and interpersonal skills, you will participate in the design of cloud architectures that help customers innovate. Key job responsibilities

This position is within the French AWS SA organization and focuses on AWS large account customers in France ( Enterprise Segment). You will have to :

  • Build a network of contacts to effectively support them and empower them
  • Lead best practice exchange sessions
  • Facilitate workshops and architecture reviews
  • Support all project phases, from design to operation
  • Guide skill development in terms of technology and governance

Within AWS, you will :

  • Contribute, as part of the account team, to defining the business and technology strategy
  • Ensure coordination between the various AWS teams to best represent your customers' interests
  • Share your experience in technology or industry communities
  • Participate in internal programs on technology, organizational, and recruitment topics

Within external communities, you will :

  • Present your experience, challenges, and appropriate solutions in presentations or videos
  • Contribute to the creation of content such as blog posts, white papers, and articles
  • Participate in AWS community programs and customers

A day in the life

You help your customers be competitive, secure, and sustainable. As a member of an account team composed of business, sales, consulting, or support professionals, your mission is to establish a bond of technological trust with your customers. You work at all levels of the organization, including management teams. You analyze needs and opportunities, and support your customers on the optimal use of cloud technologies. You help AWS teams understand your customers' needs and integrate them into their plans. You share your experience with other teams around the world and are active in the AWS public community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to communicate effectively in diverse contexts and at different levels, to coordinate teams, and to work effectively internally and externally
  • Professional experience in or with large organizations, implementing or managing complex IT projects
  • Experience in IT infrastructure, systems operations, or development
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
  • Fluent French for client interactions, professional English (spoken and written) for internal communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical background : Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
  • Knowledge or experience of migrating or transforming to the AWS cloud and / or Public or Hybrid Cloud offerings
  • Experience in one of the following sectors : Energy, Power and Utilities
