One of our large European clients based in Paris is urgently recruiting for an Architect with experience in:

Cisco Information Server /Composite, databases (Talend and Big Data a plus)

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design overall IT architecture solution for large projects, including tool selection and security policies.
• Propose data models and collaborate with staff to ensure models support all relevant data efficiently.
• Work with Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse experts to ensure models support BI analytics effectively.
• Assist in analyzing solutions for Business Intelligence, Data Virtualization, and Databases.
• Design logical database models for Trade Repositories’ transaction-level and position-level data based on specifications.
• Propose management tools and processes.
• Participate in writing functional and technical specifications for applications or data.
• Contribute to technical documentation for tender procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues and users to gather requirements, analyze proposals, conduct negotiations, and implement standards.

Education and Qualifications:

University or college degree in computer engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related discipline, or professional experience in IT architecture methodologies.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of BI Analytics, Data Virtualization (especially Cisco Information Server /Composite), databases (Talend, Big Data), Data Warehouse.

Strong understanding of IT methodologies and tools for Data Warehouse, Dimensional Modelling, OLAP, data management (including security), and metadata management.

Proven ability to translate technological issues into business contexts and identify technical solutions for business needs.

Experience in team facilitation, project management, and training is advantageous.
